Operation We Are Here

Mission statement

  • To create an awareness of the challenges of the military community

  • To offer practical suggestions to churches, communities and individuals on how to support and encourage the military community

  • To provide a comprehensive list of resources for the military community and its supporters

The Military Wallet

The Military Wallet is a personal finance and benefits website for military members, veterans and their families. Our goal is to help the military community better manage money and understand the variety of programs and benefits available to them.

Vehicles For Veterans

Vehicles for Veterans is Car Donation Foundation's tax-exempt vehicle donation program that benefits disabled veterans. Our car donation program accepts cars, boats (with trailer), RVs, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles, whether they are running or not. At no cost to you, we will arrange to have your vehicle towed away at a scheduled time that is best for you and your preliminary tax receipt will be mailed to you within 15 days.

RESOURCES

These are suggestions of people and places to turn to for help, but please, if you or your Veteran believe it's a dire situation, please call 911.
Resources do not always have to be counselors or doctors. Help comes in many forms. When looking for help, you can reach out to friends, family, or battle buddies. You can also reach out to your local VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), or your local American Legion. Other possibilities are places like your local church, or any organizations you or they might belong to.

We do not take credit for any of the following organizations. Their missions reflect their own hard work and dedication to the assistance of Veterans and their families. We would like to recommend their resources for assistance.
